Punjab CM Invites US Investors to Invest in Key Sectors

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has invited U.S. investors to explore investment opportunities in key sectors within the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, during a meeting with a delegation from the U.S. Congress in Lahore, Chief Minister Nawaz highlighted the provincial government’s initiatives aimed at fostering foreign investment. She emphasized the government’s commitment to facilitating investors through a ‘One Window’ platform under the Special Investment Facilitation Council, ensuring streamlined processes for potential investors.

Chief Minister Nawaz also stressed the importance of enhancing parliamentary-level exchanges between delegations to bolster economic ties. In a related development, she met with a delegation from the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), led by Secretary General Asad Majeed Khan, to discuss the promotion of the tourism sector as a burgeoning industry.

Maryam Nawaz reiterated her government’s dedication to upgrading tourist locations throughout the province and ensuring that tourists receive all necessary facilities. The ECO delegation commended her and her team for their efforts in enhancing the province’s beauty, reviving cultural heritage, and promoting tourism.
