Punjab CM Launches Maskan-e-Ravi Housing Scheme for Low-Income Families

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched the Maskan-e-Ravi Housing Scheme for low-income people at Kala Shah Kaku today. Addressing the launching ceremony, the Chief Minister congratulated one hundred people on receiving newly built houses that come equipped with necessary facilities and were constructed in just two and a half months.

According to Radio Pakistan, Chief Minister Nawaz emphasized that these houses have been provided to low-income families strictly on merit. She highlighted that thousands of houses are currently under construction in every district of the province and expressed optimism about achieving the target of constructing one lakh houses within this year.

She also noted that the Apni Chhat Apna Ghar scheme stands as an exemplary housing initiative, aiming to provide at least one lakh families with their own homes each year. Furthermore, Maryam Nawaz announced plans to launch a new scheme for deserving people, which will offer three marla plots, enabling them to construct their own homes.
