Punjab CM Mandates Comprehensive Oversight in PERA

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed strict action against elements involved in tarnishing the image of the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA). Chairing a meeting in Lahore, she ordered the scrutiny of four thousand PERA officials and personnel to ensure transparency and institutional accountability.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister also set June 30 as the deadline for the installation of body cameras for PERA personnel and directed authorities to upgrade the internal intelligence.
