Punjab CM Orders Swift Measures for Future Flood Preparedness

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has directed to initiate the measures on war footings for protection, rescue and relief operation regarding flood in future. Chairing a meeting in Lahore on Friday, she said that precautionary measures are necessary before the next flood.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz gave conditional permission to the Irrigation Department to hire staff during a flood emergency situation.
