Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed the swift completion of legal procedures for the establishment of the Enforcement Regulatory Authority (ERA).
Chairing a meeting in Lahore on Tuesday, she emphasized that the establishment of a competent authority is essential to curb artificial inflation and hoarding.
She said structural reforms are being introduced in every sector and that encroachments in streets and markets cannot be tolerated.
The meeting was briefed about progress of establishment of the Punjab Enforcement Regulatory Authority.
