Punjab CM Unveils Initiatives for Special Children’s Welfare

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has introduced a series of initiatives aimed at improving the lives of special children across the province. Chairing a meeting in Lahore today, she launched a health screening program for forty thousand special children to diagnose diseases and provide free treatment.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister gave approval for the Special People Employment Program to provide job opportunities, along with the introduction of the Rising Star Card for special children. The meeting also approved the launch of the Packed Food Meal Program for special children, in addition to the provision of nine electric buses for their transportation.

The meeting decided to initiate a province-wide enrollment and awareness campaign to increase the admission of special children.
