Liaquatpur: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has visited Zahir Pir Band of Tehsil Liaquatpur District Rahim Yar.
According to Radio Pakistan, during the visit, she commended the rescue operation for flood-affected people in the area. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif also received flood-affected families coming in the rescue boats at Minchan Band.
While briefing the Punjab Chief Minister about the evacuation operation, a spokesman of the District Administration Rahim Yar Khan informed that thirty-five rural areas of Noor Wala, Gull Muhammad Langah, Dera Faridi, and Chauhan of Tehsil Liaquatpur have been inundated with flood water.
