Punjab CNF Carries Out Major Crackdown on Organized Drug Trafficking Network

Bahawalpur: Counter Narcotics Force Punjab has carried out a major crackdown against an organized drug trafficking network, seizing a large quantity of narcotics in two intelligence-based operations.

According to Radio Pakistan, a total of 475 kilograms of narcotics, worth about seventy eight million rupees, was recovered during raids near Lal Suhanra National Park in Bahawalpur and at Shakir Morr, Vehari.

The recovered drugs included three hundred and eighty two kilograms of hashish, ninety two kilograms opium, and one kilogram ice.

Two accused including a woman, were arrested during the operations.
