Punjab Faces Persistent Flood Situation in Sutlej, Chenab, and Ravi Rivers

Islamabad: In Punjab, flood situation is persisting in the rivers of Sutlej, Chenab and Ravi.

According to Radio Pakistan, the spokesman of the Punjab Disaster Management Authority reported a very high flood at Ganda Singh Wala in the River Sutlej, with a water flow of 319,000 cusecs. Meanwhile, there is a high flood at Sulemanki, where the flow is 135,000 cusecs.

In the River Chenab, the water flow at Marala is 84,000 cusecs, while Khanki is experiencing a low flood with a flow of 147,000 cusecs.

The spokesman further detailed that in the River Ravi, a low flood is recorded at Jassar with a water flow of 45,000 cusecs. Shahdara is facing a high flood with a flow of 90,000 cusecs, while Balloki is experiencing a very high flood with a flow of 139,000 cusecs. Additionally, a high flood is occurring at Sidhnai with a flow of 123,000 cusecs.
