Sahiwal:Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the distribution of 100,000 electric bikes to students throughout the province this year. The initiative aims to enhance students’ mobility and access to education.

According to Radio Pakistan, the announcement was made during an event at the University of Sahiwal, where the Chief Minister also distributed Honhaar scholarships and laptops to students.

The Punjab government is focusing on promoting merit and ensuring equal educational opportunities for all students in the province. In addition to this initiative, the Chief Minister inaugurated four development projects in Sahiwal, with a total investment of 5.61 billion rupees. These projects include the Maryam Nawaz Sports Arena, the renovation and beautification of Model Saddar Bazaar, a Model Agriculture Mall, and the construction of a 27-kilometre Sahiwal-Arifwala dual carriageway.
