Punjab Government Urges Public to Observe Safety Measures for Basant

Lahore: The Punjab government has appealed to the public to strictly observe safety precautions to ensure peaceful and safe Basant celebrations. In a media statement, Home Department Punjab Secretary Ahmad Javed Qazi emphasized the importance of adhering to safety guidelines during the popular kite-flying festival.

According to Radio Pakistan, Secretary Ahmad Javed Qazi highlighted that comprehensive administrative and security arrangements have been implemented across Lahore. He assured that all relevant government departments are fully alert and actively performing their duties to prioritize public safety during the festivities.

Secretary Qazi called on citizens to act responsibly to safeguard their own lives and ensure the safety and happiness of their families, underscoring the collective effort required for a successful and incident-free celebration.
