Punjab Govt Decides to Launch Special Buses for Women in Rural Areas

Lahore: Punjab government has decided in principle to launch special buses for women in rural areas. The decision to this effect was made at a meeting in Lahore today with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in the chair.

According to Radio Pakistan, it was decided to launch a special bus service in every rural Tehsil to the concerned District Headquarter. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that launching a special bus service will boost the confidence of rural women and it will also facilitate female students and patients.
