Punjab govt decides to solarize 7500 tube-wells to facilitate farmers

Punjab government has decided to advance agricultural productivity and support farmers with a focus on innovative projects.

The decision was taken during a meeting of Planning and Development Board chaired by chief minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore today.

The meeting decided to solarize seventy five hundred tube wells in first phase that will be completed by June next year.

The meeting also reviewed measures to boost agricultural exports and strategies for utilizing government land to increase canola cultivation.
