Punjab Govt Establishes PIFTAC for Enhanced Intelligence Sharing

Lahore: Punjab Government has established the Provincial Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Centre (PIFTAC) to enhance real-time intelligence sharing and counterterrorism efforts. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif visited the Center in Lahore where she was briefed on PIFTAC and other matters of law and order.

According to Radio Pakistan, during her visit, Chief Minister Sharif emphasized the importance of improving intelligence capabilities to effectively counter threats. She also directed the immediate establishment of a cybercrime cell in the province to further bolster security measures.
