Punjab Govt Forms Law Reforms Committee to Update Criminal Procedure Code

Islamabad: The Punjab government has established a Law Reforms Committee to amend and modernize the outdated criminal procedure code of 1898.

According to Radio Pakistan, the committee will be led by DIG Kamran Adil. Additional Secretary-Judicial Home Department Imran Hussain Ranjha will serve as the secretary of the committee.
