Punjab Govt launches AI-driven E-Challans to curb traffic violations

Punjab government has introduced Artificial Intelligence based E-Challans aimed at automating traffic violation detection and enforcement.

According to Operation Commander Punjab Safe City Muhammad Shafique Ahmad Punjab Chief Minister Maryum Nawaz’s leadership has taken a significant step towards enhancing road safety by introducing AI-driven E-challans to curb traffic violations.

He said this innovative approach uses artificial intelligence to automate detection of nineteen traffic violations including driving on wrong side of the road, triple riding and speeding.

The government has vowed to take strict action against reckless drivers and motorists to promote road safety and discipline.
