Punjab Govt Launches ‘Apna Muweshi Apna Hi Rozgar’ Programme to Empower Rural Women

Islamabad: Punjab government has launched the “Apna Muweshi Apna Hi Rozgar” programme aimed at economically empowering rural women in the province. The initiative provides free livestock to eligible rural women.

According to Radio Pakistan, the programme’s first phase has been initiated in 13 districts, including Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Layyah, Kot Addu, Bahawalpur, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Taunsa, Bahawalnagar, Khanewal, Vehari, and Lodhran. The programme targets widowed and divorced women up to 55 years of age, who can apply online through the Chief Minister Facilitation Desk.
