Lahore: Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb says the Punjab government is working round the clock to address the smog issue. Addressing a news conference in Lahore today, she emphasized the government’s commitment to tackling the environmental challenge.

According to Radio Pakistan, Marriyum Aurangzeb highlighted the establishment of a War Room within the Environment Protection Department. This initiative is aimed at monitoring and updating the situation regarding the smog issue, ensuring that the government remains informed and responsive to the evolving environmental conditions.

The minister’s remarks underscore the urgency and priority that the Punjab government is placing on combating smog, a significant concern for the region’s residents.
