Punjab Police Introduces Digital Monitoring for Injured Personnel Welfare

Lahore: The Punjab Police has launched a new digital module, “Hamare Apne,” aimed at enhancing the health welfare of officers injured in the line of duty, allowing for real-time monitoring and support through its police welfare software.

According to Punjab Police, the initiative was detailed in a video link meeting led by DIG Welfare and Finance Punjab, Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, at the Central Police Office. The meeting included welfare in-charges from all districts and field formations, alongside relevant officers and staff, who participated via video link. DIG Salahuddin outlined the objectives of the “Hamare Apne” software, while IT experts demonstrated its functionality, emphasizing the ease of updating and accessing detailed information about injured personnel’s recovery and rehabilitation.

The software is designed to ensure that all data regarding currently injured employees is updated promptly, improving the efficiency of medical assistance delivery. AIG Welfare Dr. Amara Shirazi confirmed that the module is integrated with the Punjab Police’s human resource software and highlighted the commitment to adhering to timelines for updating information, thus providing special benefits to the police force in terms of health welfare.
