Punjab Police Schedules Psychological Assessment for Corporal Positions

Lahore: The Public Service Commission Punjab has announced the schedule for the written psychological assessment for candidates aspiring to join the Counter Terrorism Department of the Punjab Police as Corporals (BS-11). The examination will be held over five consecutive days, starting from September 18, 2024, at the PPSC Examination Centre located near Ayub Chowk, Trade Centre Johar Town, Lahore.

According to Public Service Commission Punjab, a total of 1,819 candidates are expected to participate in this assessment process. The number of candidates scheduled each day varies, with 390 on Wednesday, September 18, 376 on Thursday, September 19, 310 on Friday, September 20, 351 on Saturday, September 21, and 392 on Sunday, September 22. Candidates are required to report at 08:30 a.m., with attendance being marked at 09:00 a.m.

The commission has also specified that the date for the psychological assessment interview will be issued on the day of the written assessment. It is mandatory for all candidates to carry their original CNIC and two passport-sized photographs. Candidates must bring their own pens, either blue or black, and a lead pencil. In addition, all personal belongings, including mobile phones and bags, must be submitted outside the premises before entering the examination hall.

Furthermore, candidates have been advised to bring their own water bottles as drinking water will not be provided at the venue. The commission emphasized that adherence to these guidelines is crucial, and failure to comply with any of the instructions will result in disqualification from the assessment process.

The successful completion of this psychological assessment is essential for candidates to advance to the final interview stage. Any candidate unable to attend the assessment will be deemed ineligible for further consideration in the recruitment process.
