Punjab Public Service Commission Expands Junior Computer Operator Positions

Lahore: The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced an increase in the number of available positions for Junior Computer Operator (BS-12) roles, as detailed in a recent corrigendum to its Advertisement No. 21/2024. Originally, three positions were advertised, but this has now been expanded to a total of 11 positions.

According to Public Service Commission Punjab, the revised allocation includes nine positions for open merit, one for women, and one for minority candidates. This adjustment follows the original publication in several newspapers on August 30, 2024, under Case No. 31-RC/2024. The expansion of available posts was authorized by the Administrative Department, as indicated in their letter dated November 24, 2024.

This development reflects the PPSC’s efforts to broaden employment opportunities within the commission, aiming to attract a wider pool of qualified candidates. The additional positions are expected to enhance the operational capacity of the commission by increasing its workforce in the specified category.
