Punjab Seeks US Collaboration for Agricultural Modernization

Lahore: Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has said that economic and progress indicators of the country are heading in the right direction. He was talking to US Consul General Kristin Hawkins in Lahore today. During the meeting, they discussed ways to boost bilateral ties in health, education, and agriculture sectors.

According to Radio Pakistan, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan emphasized that Punjab will welcome US cooperation for the modernization of the agriculture sector. Speaking on the occasion, the US Consul General noted that several programs are being completed in the health, education, and agriculture sectors of Punjab with US assistance.

Appreciating US cooperation, the Punjab Governor proposed the establishment of model schools in remote and underserved districts with US assistance.
