Islamabad: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced that the province’s sewerage and water drainage systems are undergoing an upgrade to better serve the public. She conveyed this during a ceremony where symbolic keys of new sewerage machines were handed over to officials from the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) in Lahore.
According to Radio Pakistan, the chief minister emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring the comfort and facilitation of every citizen. She highlighted that the WASA network has significantly expanded from just two districts to now covering 41 districts across the province.
