Punjab’s Ambitious Initiatives Under Maryam Nawaz Mark New Era of Development

Lahore: Punjab is witnessing a wave of development and public welfare initiatives under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, according to Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari. The province has launched projects like the Kisan Card, electric bikes, scholarships, and the “Dhee Rani Program,” as part of a broader strategy to enhance prosperity and peace.

According to a statement by Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, these initiatives are spearheading a transformation across the province, with new infrastructure projects underway, including road construction and the introduction of electric buses. Maryam Nawaz’s efforts extend from Central to Southern Punjab, aiming to create a cohesive network of public welfare projects.

Minister Bokhari also highlighted significant programs such as the “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” scheme and the provision of free cancer medicines, underscoring Maryam Nawaz’s commitment to addressing public health and housing. The “Khushal Punjab” and “Suthra Punjab” projects are also progressing effectively, reflecting a comprehensive approach to regional development.

In her address, Bokhari was critical of the previous administration, accusing it of exploiting Punjab’s resources. She emphasized that Maryam Nawaz is now rectifying past injustices by introducing initiatives that benefit all societal segments. She also noted that opposition parties focus more on criticizing Maryam Nawaz rather than highlighting their accomplishments.

Maryam Nawaz’s efforts have reportedly garnered increasing support from the youth, attributed to her dedication and substantial contributions to the province’s development.
