Doha: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, on an official visit to Qatar, engaged in significant discussions with Qatari leadership to bolster bilateral military cooperation. The meetings were highlighted by a key encounter with Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al-Thani.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, General Mirza also met with the Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces. The discussions centered on evolving regional dynamics, with both parties expressing a mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation between the two nations.

General Mirza emphasized the robust brotherly relations between Pakistan and Qatar, reaffirming a commitment to further strengthen military-to-military cooperation in defense and security.
