New Delhi: In a significant reshuffling of diplomatic plans, the upcoming Quad Leaders Summit, initially slated to be hosted in India, will now take place in the United States. This adjustment marks the first occasion President Joe Biden will host foreign leaders in Wilmington during his tenure.

According to Kashmir Media Service, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre highlighted the strategic importance of the summit. She detailed President Biden’s anticipation of welcoming Prime Minister Anthony Albanese of Australia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India, and Prime Minister Kishida Fumio of Japan.

The Biden-Harris Administration emphasizes the Quad as a cornerstone of their foreign policy, with a history of notable engagements including the inaugural Quad Leaders Summit at the White House in 2021 and consistent annual meetings thereafter. The collaborative efforts extend beyond the summits as Quad Foreign Ministers have convened eight times, with ongoing high-level interactions across various government sectors.
