Quetta Electric Supply Company Launches Daily Open Kitchens for Electricity Complaints

Quetta: In a significant move to address electricity-related complaints from consumers, open kitchens are being conducted daily under the guidance of the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan. These sessions, hosted by the Quetta Electric Supply Company (CASCO), are designed to offer a direct platform for consumer grievances within the operational circles of Quetta, Loralai, Khuzdar, Sibi, and Makran.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the open kitchens are scheduled from 11 am to 1 am at all sub-divisions under CASCO’s operational circles. These events are attended by senior officers and the Sub-Division Officers (SDOs) of the respective operation circles. They are present to directly hear out the complaints and work towards their immediate resolution. Consumers are encouraged to participate actively in these sessions, which are held in their respective subdivisions. They are also advised to bring their current electricity bills, which will be used as a reference to address their issues effectively.

In response to this initiative, CASCO has reached out to all consumers within their service areas, urging them to make the most of these open kitchens to lodge their complaints and seek timely solutions. This proactive approach by CASCO aims to foster better communication between the electricity provider and its consumers, ensuring that their concerns are addressed promptly and efficiently.
