Rabi-ul-Awwal moon not sighted; Eid Milad-un-Nabi on Sept 17

The crescent of Rabi-ul-Awwal 1446 Hijri has not been sighted, and the first Rabi-ul-Awwal will fall on Friday.

This was announced by the Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, while addressing a news conference in Islamabad tonight.

He said the 12th of Rabiul Awwal, which marks Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW), will be celebrated on 17th of this month.
