Radio Pakistan airing special programmes during holy month of Ramzan

Islamabad, July 08, 2013 (PPI-OT): Radio Pakistan is airing special programmes during the holy month of Ramzan. All stations will launch special Sehr and Iftar transmission.

Salatut Taraweeh will be broadcast live from Makkh-tul-Mukarrama on FM-93 and AM networks. Five minute talk has been planned on different religious topics under the title‚ ‘Akhuwat Kay Rishtay’ will be aired in program ‘Apna Pakistan.’

A series of speeches on different topics titled‚ ‘From Ghar-e Hira to Maidan-e Arafat’ will be presented for listeners daily at 03:30 p.m.

A series of seminars titled‚ ‘Quran-e Hakeem Aur Sirat-e Mustaqeen’ will be aired in the last week of Ramadan.

Music programmes ‘Sur Sangeet’ and ‘Sur Bahar’ as well as programme ‘Sports Plus’ will not be broadcast during the holy month of Ramadan.

Night transmission of Radio Pakistan Islamabad from midnight to 05:45 a.m. will not be presented due to special Ramadan programmes.
