Radio Pakistan Celebrates Independence Day with Special Programme

Islamabad: The News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan organized a special programme today as part of the Independence Day celebrations.

According to Radio Pakistan, all staff members on duty, representing different wings of Radio Pakistan including News, Current Affairs, Social Media, Programme, Engineering, FM, security guards, and sanitary workers, participated in the programme, celebrating Independence Day with a spirit of unity.

Former Ambassador Naela Chohan highlighted various aspects of the Pakistan Movement, paying tribute to the leadership of the Founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and other heroes of the movement. Additionally, a message from Director General Radio Pakistan Saeed Ahmad Sheikh was broadcast, connecting with the Independence Day theme, and the programme was live-streamed on Radio Pakistan’s Facebook page.

On this occasion, participants sang patriotic songs and cut a cake to commemorate Independence Day in a meaningful manner.
