Radio Pakistan Hosts Cake-Cutting Ceremony to Celebrate Independence Day

Islamabad: A special cake-cutting ceremony was held at Radio Pakistan in connection with the Independence Day celebrations. The event was organized under the auspices of the News and Current Affairs Channel of Radio Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the ceremony took place on Thursday, with key figures such as Director General Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation Saeed Ahmed Shaikh, Director News and Current Affairs Amanullah Sipra, Director Engineering Aqil Khan, Director Administration Muhammad Ijaz Khan, and Director Finance Inam-ul-Haq performing the cake-cutting. Officers and staff from various wings of the state broadcaster attended the event.

During the ceremony, participants wore national dress and sang patriotic songs while chanting slogans of “Long Live Pakistan.” A separate cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate both Independence Day and the Birthday of Radio Pakistan was held in the News Room.
