Railways Enhance Passenger Facilities with New Initiatives: Hanif

Quetta: Federal Minister for Railways, Muhammad Hanif Abbasi has affirmed Pakistan Railways’ dedication to providing optimal facilities for its passengers. During a visit to Quetta Railway Station, accompanied by Senator Ahmed Khan Khilji, Abbasi emphasized the organization’s commitment to service improvement.

According to Radio Pakistan, Hanif Abbasi engaged directly with passengers traveling on the Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express, taking the opportunity to hear their concerns and suggestions. His visit was marked by significant developments, including the inauguration of a modern control room featuring 29 CCTV cameras to enhance security and a new gym center at the Railway Officers Club.

In a gesture of support and solidarity, the Federal Minister presented a cheque of five million rupees to the mother of Constable Faisal, who lost his life in a terrorist attack in Mach, underscoring the ministry’s support for its personnel and their families.
