Railways Minister Announces to Upgrade All Railway Stations

Islamabad: Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi has announced plans to upgrade all railway stations across the country with world-class digital facilities. Speaking to a private news channel, he detailed the ambitious vision for modernizing the railway infrastructure.

According to Radio Pakistan, an online digitalization system, based on European standards, has already been implemented across the railway network. This initiative aims to enhance the efficiency and convenience of railway services.

The Minister highlighted the progress of the Islamabad-Lahore railway line project, which is being financed by the Punjab government and is currently on a fast track. Additionally, he addressed the ongoing work on the ML-1 project, noting that it is progressing swiftly with the cooperation of the Sindh government.
