Rain and Thundershowers Forecasted in Specific Regions Across the Country

Islamabad: Partly cloudy weather is expected over most plains of the country, while rain, wind, and thundershowers are likely in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, upper Punjab, Islamabad, and southeastern Sindh during the next twelve hours. Heavy rain, windstorms, and hailstorms are also expected at isolated places in Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, southeastern Sindh, and the Pothohar region during this period. Light rain may occur at isolated places in central and southern Punjab.

According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures in major cities recorded this morning include Islamabad at 23 degrees Celsius, Lahore at 28, Karachi at 29, Peshawar at 26, Quetta at 22, Gilgit and Murree at 16, and Muzaffarabad at 21 degrees Celsius. The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates partly cloudy weather with a chance of rain, wind, and thundershowers in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla.

Temperatures recorded this morning in these regions were
Srinagar and Anantnag at sixteen degrees Celsius, Jammu at twenty-four, Leh at eight, and Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramulla at fifteen degrees Celsius.
