Islamabad, April 06, 2018 (PPI-OT): Met Office informed that a moderate westerly wave is likely to enter in western parts of the country from Sunday and likely to grip central and upper parts of the country on Monday. Under the influence of this weather system;
Rain-thundershowers with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad divisions), Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan from Sunday to Tuesday with intervals. The system may persist over Malakand division, GB and Kashmir till Wednesday.
Rain-thundershowers is also expected at isolated places in Northeast Balochistan, central/southern Punjab (Multan, D.G. Khan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal divisions) during Sunday to Tuesday.
Rain/thunderstorm is also expected in upper Sindh (Sukkur and Larkana divisions) on Sunday/Monday.
Dust storm/Hailstorm also expected plain areas of Punjab, KP and upper Sindh during the period.
