Rain-Wind and Thunderstorms Predicted in Northern Regions: PMD

Islamabad: Rain-wind and thunderstorms are anticipated in most areas of Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Upper Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan over the next twelve hours. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has indicated the possibility of heavy rainfall and hailstorms in select locations within these regions. Meanwhile, other parts of the country are expected to experience dry weather conditions.

According to Radio Pakistan, temperatures recorded this morning in major cities include thirteen degrees centigrade in Islamabad and Muzaffarabad, seventeen in Lahore, twenty-one in Karachi, fifteen in Peshawar, five in Quetta, ten in Gilgit, and six in Murree. The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir suggests partly cloudy to cloudy skies with potential rain-wind thunderstorms in Srinagar and Jammu. Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula are likely to experience cloudy weather with similar conditions, while Leh is expected to remain partly cloudy.

This morning’s temperatures
in the region were recorded at seven degrees centigrade in Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian, seventeen in Jammu, zero in Leh, and six in Pulwama and Baramula.
