Rain-Wind/Thunderstorm with Snowfall Expected in Upper Regions of Pakistan

Islamabad: Rain-wind/thunderstorm with snowfall over hills is expected in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and northwestern Balochistan during the next twelve hours. Fog is likely to develop over a few areas of Punjab and upper Sindh during morning and night. Cold and dry weather is expected in other parts of the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature of major cities recorded this morning was Islamabad and Muzaffarabad at five degrees centigrade, Lahore at nine, Karachi at fifteen, Peshawar at eight, Quetta and Gilgit at three, and Murree at one degree centigrade.

In the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, very cold and cloudy weather is expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while cold and foggy weather is expected in Jammu. The temperature recorded this morning in these areas was minus one degree centigrade in Srinagar, Pulwama, and Baramula, seven in Jammu, minus ten in Leh, and zero degree centigrade in Anantnag and Shopian.
