Rana Sanaullah Advocates Constitutional Amendment to Bolster Parliament

Islamabad: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has declared that amending the constitution is crucial for strengthening the parliamentary system in Pakistan. This statement was made during his discussion on a private television channel, highlighting the government’s commitment to refining legislative processes.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Sanaullah mentioned that while the groundwork for the constitutional amendment is already complete, the draft will only be presented in Parliament after achieving consensus among various political parties. Addressing concerns raised by JUI-F leader regarding certain aspects of the proposed amendment, he assured that these issues would be deliberated in a special committee with the aim of resolving any reservations through thorough consultation.
