Rana Tanveer Calls for Cementing Pakistan-Philippines Ties

Islamabad: Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, has called for enhanced bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the Philippines in various sectors. He was addressing a ceremony held in Islamabad to mark the 127th Independence Day of the Philippines.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted the potential for collaboration in agriculture, climate adaptation, pharmaceutical development, renewable energy, and digital innovation. Rana Tanveer emphasized the importance of joint research initiatives, public-private partnerships, and institutional exchanges to tackle global challenges such as food security and climate resilience.

Rana Tanveer Hussain further advocated for greater market integration and business-to-business engagement. He stated that Pakistan welcomes investment from Filipino enterprises and encourages increased participation in trade expos and business delegations.
