Record Promotions in Punjab Police as 403 Officers Advance to Sub-Inspector Rank

Lahore: On the directives of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the Punjab Police has initiated a record number of promotions, advancing 403 officers to the rank of Sub-Inspector based on merit and seniority.

According to Punjab Police, four promotion boards convened over the past 10 days in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, and Bahawalpur. The promotions included 122 officers from Rawalpindi, 129 from Faisalabad, 74 from Multan, and 78 from Bahawalpur. Dr. Usman Anwar stated that promotions and welfare are vital for the morale of the police force and encouraged officers to leverage their new ranks to improve performance and ensure prompt justice for citizens.
