Relief Operations Underway in Flood-Affected Areas

Islamabad: Relief operations are underway in the flood-affected areas by relevant institutions and welfare organizations under the supervision of National Disaster Management Authority relief efforts are in full swing in the flood-affected regions, as coordinated by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) along with various institutions and welfare organizations.

According to Radio Pakistan, a total of 7,348 tons of relief goods have been distributed in the affected areas by different national and international welfare organizations. The NDMA has been actively engaging the private sector and industrial institutions to identify areas where relief activities are most needed.

Medical camps and mobile health units have been established to provide essential medical services. Additionally, welfare organizations have supplied ambulances, tents, hygiene kits, and mosquito nets to assist those impacted by the floods. The NDMA is working diligently with these organizations to ensure the provision of basic necessities to the victims.
