Rescue 1122 Places Murree District on High Alert Ahead of Cold Wave

Murree: The Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122 has enforced a red code and placed the Murree district on high alert ahead of an expected cold wave and snowfall.

According to Radio Pakistan, Rescue 1122 personnel remain on round-the-clock duty to provide timely, effective, and uninterrupted rescue services to residents and tourists. The initiative aims to ensure safety and preparedness as the region anticipates adverse weather conditions.

Meanwhile, the Met Office advised citizens, particularly tourists, to avoid unnecessary travel. If travel is unavoidable, they are urged to obtain updated weather information in advance and observe precautionary measures during rain and snowfall to avoid any mishap. The advisory is part of efforts to minimize risks and ensure the safety of all individuals in the area.
