Responsible Media Vital for Projecting Pakistan’s Positive Image: Gilani

Islamabad: Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has emphasized the important role of responsible and professional media in projecting a balanced, positive, and constructive image of Pakistan. He expressed these views while talking to Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Pakistan Observer, Faisal Zahid Malik, who called on him in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, matters related to parliamentary diplomacy and the role of the media in promoting Pakistan’s positive image were also discussed. Faisal Zahid Malik thanked the Acting President for acknowledging the role of Pakistan Observer and said that the newspaper would continue to play its role in projecting Pakistan’s national interests and positive image around the world. Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Pakistan Observer, Saud Faisal Malik, was also present on the occasion.
