Rizwan Lauds APAG’s Efforts in Promoting Pakistani Heritage.

New york: Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh attended a luncheon hosted by the American Pakistani Advocacy Group in New York. The event brought together prominent local leaders, including State Senator John Liu, New York Assembly member David Weprin, and Council-member Linda Lee.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ambassador acknowledged American Pakistani Advocacy Group’s efforts in promoting Pakistani heritage and identity in American society. He highlighted the importance of working with local representatives to enhance educational, economic, and social opportunities for the Pakistani-American community.

During his visit, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh also joined the Group’s office bearers on a visit to the newly dedicated ‘Allama Iqbal Avenue’ at Richmond Hill, Queens. He lauded the naming of the avenue as a meaningful recognition of Pakistan’s national poet, Allama Iqbal, and a tribute to Pakistan’s heritage in New York City.
