Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Gathers in Islamabad to Observe Rabi-us-Sani Moon

Islamabad: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will convene in Islamabad on Tuesday to observe the Rabi-us-Sani 1447 Hijri moon. The meeting aims to determine the beginning of the Islamic month based on the lunar sighting.

According to Radio Pakistan, Chairman Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad will lead the proceedings of the meeting. The committee’s decision is awaited by many as it will mark the start of the new month in the Islamic calendar.
