Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to Convene in Peshawar for Ramazan Moon Sighting

Peshawar: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is scheduled to meet in Peshawar tomorrow to observe the sighting of the Ramazan-ul-Mubarak 1447 Hijri Moon. This meeting will be a critical step in determining the commencement of the holy month of Ramazan.

According to Radio Pakistan, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, who serves as the Chairman of the Committee, will lead the meeting. The gathering will be attended by members who will collaborate to confirm the moon sighting, a practice observed by the Muslim community to commence the fasting month of Ramazan.

In addition to the central meeting in Peshawar, the Zonal and District Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will also convene at their respective headquarters. These local committees are tasked with assisting in the moon sighting process, ensuring a widespread and coordinated effort across the country.
