Islamabad: Russian media has highly praised Pakistan’s leadership role in the US-Iran peace agreement. Declaring Pakistan a guarantor of peace, Russia’s state news agency TASS said that Pakistan would make every possible effort to consolidate the progress achieved in the US-Iran negotiations.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Russian news agency Sputnik highlighted that, regardless of where the US-Iran peace agreement is signed, Pakistan will remain a key mediator in the process. Praising the Pakistani leadership, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Pakistan’s leadership, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, is playing a vital role in facilitating peace efforts.
