Sacrifices of Kashmiris Will Not Go in Vain, Declares AJK PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore affirmed that the sacrifices made by the Kashmiri people will not be in vain, asserting their eventual freedom from Indian control. He made these remarks while addressing an event in Islamabad on the occasion of Right to Self-Determination Day.

According to Radio Pakistan, the AJK Prime Minister emphasized that Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir have endured Indian measures for decades with unwavering determination. He highlighted that the Kashmir issue has gained international attention following the Pehelgam incident, presenting an opportunity for resolving the long-standing Jammu and Kashmir dispute.

During the event, Chairman Kashmir Committee Rana Qasim Noon also spoke, emphasizing that the Kashmiri struggle is an indigenous movement for their globally recognized right to self-determination. He stated that this movement is unrelated to terrorism and cannot be quelled by any means of force.
