Safar Moon Not Sighted, 1st of Safar to Fall on Sunday

Islamabad: The Moon of Safar 1447 Hijri has not been sighted, and the 1st of Safar will fall on Sunday, the 27th of this month. This announcement was made by Moulana Abdul Khabir Azad, the Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, following a meeting in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the decision was reached after careful observation and deliberation during the committee’s meeting on Friday. The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is responsible for the official moon sighting announcements, which play a crucial role in determining the Islamic calendar months.
