SAFRON Minister Calls for Effective Project Implementation by NGOs

Islamabad: In a concerted effort to enhance the efficiency of humanitarian projects, Engineer Amir Muqam, the Minister for States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON), has called on Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) to improve their project implementation strategies, particularly those aimed at aiding Afghan refugees.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a meeting held in Islamabad, attended by representatives of NGOs involved in refugee welfare, Minister Muqam emphasized the need for providing maximum assistance to Afghan refugees and assured that his ministry would offer all necessary support and coordination. The NGOs presented updates on their activities, focusing on livelihood improvements and vocational training for refugees.

Minister Muqam reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting these initiatives and stressed the importance of practical and timely application of projects to meet the pressing needs of the refugee population.
